A kaleidoscopic blend of Indian and Portuguese cultures, sweetened with sun, sea, sand, susegad, and spirituality, Goa is India’s pocket-sized paradise. Located on the west coast of India you can have the sight of high Sahyadri ranges on one side and on another side the picturesque view of the Arabian Sea. Goa is known for its pictorial beauty, striking beaches, beautiful temples and churches, grand festival celebrations and colourful Hindu and Catholic heritage. Goa has become a well-visited winter getaway where yoga is celebrated and spiritual activities are on a daily schedule: sunrise yoga sessions on the beach, reiki healing courses, meditation, and just about every other form of spiritual exploration, are all practised freely.
Morjim is known as one of the best beaches in North Goa and provides a little bit of everything without being too crowded. Perfect for a yoga immersion and a bit of beach life on your weekend off.
Welcome to an amazing nature spot! Our classes are mostly held at the beautiful jungle shala of the centre with the natural shade of the surrounding trees. For the evening session, you move to the hilltop lounge from where you have the most amazing view overlooking one of Goa's most beautiful beaches. It is actually the best spot to watch every day how spectacularly the sun kisses the sea at sunset.
It’s really peaceful in the jungle on a little hilltop but not too far away so you can walk everywhere around town. Within just a walk away you are able to find a little bit of everything, empty stretches of the beach but also you can get a little taste of the vibrant Goan multicultural scene.
Every cottage has a private terrace, often with a stunning sea view. The air-conditioned rooms are provided with a mini-fridge and hot water kettle, private bathrooms with showers, cold and hot water, and WC. You will find an infinity swimming pool on the hilltop of the resort from where you can overlook the beautiful Morjim-Ashvem beach, which is only a short walk away.
In the extended neighbourhood, there are a few shops and a small but exquisite range from local eateries to lovely bakeries, cafes and sublime restaurants, lots to discover for your day off. Our team is always available to help you out and about.
It is fairly easy to get there, but to make sure you find the right spot you will be provided with all the information on how to make your way safely to Morjim and Yin Yoga Therapy Teacher Training are happy to offer your airport pick-up complementary! In this course, you will find the opportunity to practice teaching yourself and develop your own style in the art of teaching. Focus is to imply sequences according to the Daoist Elements, understanding their energetic value and the subtle art of creating the ideal environment for a transformational experience of body, mind, and soul to take place.
The five Daoist Elements give you resources of inspiration for your practice and your teaching. Mindfulness will be a subject in focus and you will be guided on how to integrate mindfulness principles to transform a yin yoga class into a meditation practice and a healing session.
By the end of this course, you will feel stronger, healthier, and better able to thrive and flow in the life you are meant to live.
Yin Yoga Therapy Teacher Training sees teaching yoga as an art fuelled by authenticity and creativity. A student's personal practice and the understanding that follows spark the inner teacher and sharing with others will come naturally and spontaneously.
In a Taoist / Zen way, they emphasize the value of breath, meditation, and intuition rather than ritual worship or rigorous following of old scriptures and perfect alignments. It matters how it feels much more than how it is supposed to look.
Yin Yoga Therapy Teacher Training acknowledges that every student and teacher has his or her own unique presence, energy, and teaching style. The Body-Mind-Soul Centre provides an ideal environment for learning and a practice process, where yoga teacher training courses are presented and practised in depth.
