In this Yin yoga certification program, you will learn all the essential elements of Yin yoga with more time to integrate and practice the therapeutic and mindfulness aspects. You look into the Yin side of yoga from all angles and dive in deep into the subject of how to apply Yin yoga as therapy.
Fuerteventura, known as the “European Caribbean”, has been declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. This island is located less than a hundred kilometres from the African coast, features a unique desert landscape, and has as its hallmark more than 150 kilometres of white sand beaches and turquoise waters.
As Miguel de Unamuno said, it is a piece of Sahara Africa launched in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Its sea breeze, loaded with negative ions, makes one completely relax as soon as you set foot on Fuerteventura, you easily feel as if you are on another planet. Find virgin and hidden white-water beaches, big waves or calm sea beaches as well as sandy lakes and charming fishing villages.
Just 400 meters from the beaches of Costa Calma, the venue The Esmeralda Maris is located next to the Valle de Esmeralda natural park in a place of paradisiacal tranquillity, allowing spectacular views of the ocean and the famous Sotavento beaches. Your accommodation is a single or double shared apartment and comes even with its own kitchen. With a 1-hour taxi or bus ride from the airport, you can reach there easily.
On your time off at the beautiful sea view venue, you can experience the wellness and spa facilities (additional charge). Forget about your to-do list in the sauna or Turkish bath, disconnect in the Jacuzzi and enjoy the sensation shower or the cold pool or opt for a renewing massage.

With successful completion of the training you will receive a Yoga Alliance Certificate from The Body-Mind-Soul Centre (RYS – registered school with Yoga Alliance) and a Yin Yoga Therapy Training Diploma as a component of Alexandra Denkinger M.D.(ACU) physical therapy practice, licensed and registered as Doctor of Medicine in Acupuncture M.D.(ACU).
When you awaken and align your body’s underlying energy, you activate your innate process of healing and transformation. You will learn about acupressure points applied in the poses and sequencing according to physical or emotional issues.

Alexandra Denkinger is an acupuncture therapist (M.D.Acu), yoga teacher (RYT500), Yin yoga expert, and founder of The Body-Mind-Soul Centre. She likes to see herself Body-Mind-Soul Bio-Hacker, an "urban shaman", dedicated to helping people empower themselves to live the most authentic, healthy life possible. As an all-time seeker on a soul-searching journey, she came across many different yoga styles and healing systems. In her Yin yoga teachings, she integrates the ancient wisdom of acupuncture meridians and chi flow in meditative yoga practice.
Tina is living for over 25 Years in Fuerteventura, where she lives her passion, teaching Yoga, working as a physiotherapist and enjoying the amazing climate, sun and the ocean, because "Life is better at the beach". She is a single mum of an 18-year-old daughter, who now studies in mainland Spain. She loves travelling and meeting new people all over the world and is looking forward to welcoming you to Fuerteventura to show you the hidden beauties of this Island.
