The yoga teacher training course focuses on traditional styles of yoga, with comprehensive and genuine teachings on yoga philosophy, yogic life, asanas, pranayama, anatomy, meditation, mantra-chanting, teaching methodology, alignment, and Ashtanga.

Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

About the training
This teacher training is a multi-style program for beginners with basic knowledge of yoga. After the completion of the course, the students will be given a certification of the completion of the 200-hour yoga training program from Yogam Studio. This 200-hour yoga teacher training will be held by experienced reputed and accomplished yoga teachers.

In addition, this 200-hour yoga training program includes mantra recitation (mantra - Japa), yoga postures (yoga asanas), meditative steps of doing asanas, six cleansing exercises (shat karma), and science of breath (pranayama), yoga energy locks (Bandha). It also includes yoga gestures (Mudra), meditation (Dhyana), yogic sleep (Yoga Nidra), history and philosophy of yoga (yoga Darshana), yogic anatomy and physiology of the human body, basic principles of Ayurveda, asana alignment practicum classes, yoga teaching practice, and teaching methodology.

Curriculum
  • 60 hours of yoga technique

Syllabus

1. Hatha yoga (classical postures)

  • Meditative steps of performing the Hatha yoga; centring, entering, refining, holding, coming out, and reflection
  • Ashtanga yoga flow - series one
  • Surya Namaskar (sun salutations) - Surya Namaskar with breath awareness, Surya Namaskar with mantra chanting
  • Types of Hatha posture - standing poses, sitting poses, backward bending poses, forward bending poses, spinal twisting poses, fire series, inversion poses, and shavasana
  • Postural alignment and art of adjustment
  • Counter pose
  • Contraindications

2. Pranayama (the science of breath)

The training will take place in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

The venue 
Sukoon Farm is a well-maintained resort with luxury air-conditioning and non-air-conditioning rooms. There are a yoga hall, a mess, and a big garden. Rooms will be available on a double sharing basis. The accommodation is facilitated with a Wi-Fi connection. Any friends or relatives will not be included in the accommodation. Anyone accompanying has to buy a separate package to get included in accommodation and food plans.

Food 
During this training, you will be served daily three delicious and healthy vegetarian meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) included in the price. Filtered water, herbal tea, and snacks are also available. The menu is creative and balanced with proteins so you feel full and satisfied. If you are planning to have a fast on any day, please inform Yogam Studio for avoiding food waste.

Vinita loved yoga right from the start, exploring many different styles. A couple of years later, she started practising Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga, and the fluidity, beauty, and meditative qualities captured her heart. Vinita had no intention of teaching yoga; she wanted to deepen her own personal practice. She decided to open Yogam Studio shortly after her son was born. Vinita teaches group classes and specializes in working one-on-one. She strives to bring yoga into everyday life by truly living it, allowing peace and joy to flourish within and spread to others.

Dr. Sonal jain completed my bachelor in physiotherapy from Choithram Institute Indore. She is a certified yoga, cupping, needling and muscle manual therapist. Running a clinic Jain Relief Physio-care in Barwaha, India. She will be teaching parts of Anatomy and Physiology.
