The venue
During the yoga teacher training course, you will be staying in clean rooms at Rishikesh Yog Nirvana Yoga School. The school is situated in the mountains of Rishikesh, it has a yoga studio, dining area, chill-out zones, a beautiful rooftop, and free Wi-Fi. The local market is 300 to 400 meters far from the yoga school. Rishikesh Yog Nirvana offers private and shared rooms according to the student's requirements. Clean bed sheets, pillows, bath towels, toilet paper, and blankets will be provided.

Food
You will be served 3 yogic and nutritious meals daily. The school prepares healthy and yummy food, as well as shares ideas while cooking in a cosy environment. They have lots of good stuff such as fresh vegetables, salads, fresh fruits, juices, and so much more.

Program

Rishikesh Yog Nirvana is the school where students will get 25 days 200 Hour residential Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga teacher training. The school believes in the quality and traditional style of yoga. The course meets the standards of Yoga Alliance. This course is designed for beginners and intermediate level students. After completion of the course, students will be able to teach as certified yoga teachers.

The course will start with the traditional style of Ashtanga and Vinyasa flow yoga and tell students how they can make their class more interesting by following the traditional style. We teach how to use the yoga sequence.

Certification
After completion of the 200 hours yoga teacher training course, students are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®). This 200 hours of yoga teacher training course is for those who would like to deepen their practice and knowledge, for beginners and advanced learners.

You will expand in the world of yoga, develop spiritually and physically and mentally and it will improve your professional skills, and the ability to teach yoga in your specific way. Apart from teaching the technical aspects of class teaching, very interactive and vibrant discussions on various aspects of the yogic lifestyle and ethics of yoga teachers will be held. There will be sessions of talk and interactive discussions on different aspects of class teaching and presentation.

Yoga postures you will learn during the course
  • Warm-up postures
Warm-up poses include little movements of the various body parts and are very useful to improve flexibility without getting any injury. So with a good warm-up, one can achieve intermediate and advanced poses easily.

  • Surya Namaskar (Sun salutation)
No yoga practice is complete without Surya Namaskar. It is a whole-body stretching practice. With the traditional style of Surya Namaskar, we salute the sun and feel energetic like the sun.

  • Hip Openers
Many people suffer from stiff hip muscles for them hip opener exercises are very useful.

  • Standing postures
Standing postures increase the strength of the body and tone the leg and hip muscles which makes them strong.

  • Sitting postures
Sitting postures improve the blood circulation around the hips, spine, and shoulders, increase the flexibility and help to keep joints and ligaments much more flexible.

Another talented and enthusiastic teacher in the school. He is even called the master of body alignment and Ashtanga Vinyasa. According to students who have studied under him, he has a great knowledge of body alignment and postures he knows very well how to modify postures according to the level of students. He is teaching for the last 3 to 4 years, he has gained a lot of knowledge about Ashtanga, students can feel this while attending his classes. He knows everything about the correct movement of the body while performing Asanas. He is very popular among the schools in Rishikesh.

As the name suggests, he has implemented the way and path of Yoga in his own life. Being an anatomy teacher, he is full of knowledge and experience. His way of explaining his lectures is truly amazing. Because Anatomy is one of the most important factors in order to know everything about one’s bodywork, we have this (Yogi) powerhouse of knowledge with us. He almost teaches the whole day in various schools, he is also a professional gym trainer as well. He explains the working of each and every body part in detail.

A calm and composed soul living his life in a yogic way. Having a master's degree in yoga, he chose meditation and Yoga philosophy because he always wanted to be a calm and composed person. He has a good strong texture of voice, which certainly makes the environment holy when he chants the mantras. He believes as we all are running behind the materialistic world, we are getting more and more stressed and depressed and we need to change this. He teaches some beautiful meditation techniques that help people to let go of all the negativity they are carrying inside.

Yogi Deepraj is one of the best Hatha yoga teachers in Rishikesh. He has been teaching hatha yoga for the last four years. Born and raised up in the holy city of Rishikesh, he is carrying yoga in his lifestyle. Yogi Deepraj has been invited for so many workshops overseas because of his great level of knowledge in hatha yoga. He is a very humble and helpful teacher who is always looking to make a comfortable atmosphere in his classes. He has also done his masters in yoga.

Yogini Priyanka is the youngest teacher at the school. She is a great example of women's empowerment. Leading Ashtanga classes for the last 3 years, she surprises everyone with her young age and great skills. She is one of the most favorite teachers we have here in Rishikesh yog nirvana. As a hard-working person, she continuously grew herself in the yogic path and helped her students by motivating them throughout the entire month. She is practicing Ashtanga from a very early age and now she has got a great level of knowledge over her subject that makes it very easy for students to learn.
