This retreat will take place in Bali, Indonesia. Ubud is the artistic and spiritual heart of Bali, a Mecca of yoga and healing, with practitioners of all modalities. For years people have flocked here, people are drawn here. There is magic here and unexplainable energy that nourishes your soul. The Balinese people keep this energy alive with their offerings and devotion to their Gods. Ubud is a place where your creativity comes alive. These townhouses are some of the world’s greatest healers.

People from all over the world are here on journeys to heal their souls and to find a path true to their hearts. Ubud is where these transitions take place, where they are found. People you meet here have inspiring tales to share. People come here to be their true authentic selves, to immerse in yoga and its teachings, to mend a broken heart, and to let go of life’s expectations and limitations. This is a place where expression is welcomed, a place where the food is of the highest quality and vibration, and a place where sincerity is genuine. Program

The Concept: Start teaching yoga with a focus on the Yin Healing Method
This is a quite unique combination of an in-depth Yin yoga therapy teacher training with all the basic yoga background of a traditional Yoga Alliance affiliated with 200 hours of training and the immersion into the Yin side of yoga. For an embodied experience of the theory behind the practice, students will have the opportunity to teach from the second week onwards. Stretched over four weeks, there is time to practice teaching and the student will leave this training feeling confident to lead a Yin yoga therapy class.

Yin yoga waves all layers of your being -body, energy, and mind - into a seamless whole, allowing a sublime experience of stillness and peace. The stillness of the long-held static stretches with relaxed muscles in Yin Yoga allows the space for awareness and the opportunity to reveal and release deep layers of tension held within your fascia. Yin yoga therapy also explains ways to emotional healing and the releasing of energetic blockages in the poses. As you put your bodies in certain positions different meridian energy streams get stimulated and you activate your body’s own healing powers.

The healing wisdom of the Daoist philosophy and the Meridians provides insight and guidance for your practice and your teaching. You will get to know all the basics of a classical 200 hours of yoga teacher training and embark on a journey through all the Taoist elements and their healing wisdom, learn about the ancient tradition of the acupuncture Meridians and Chi flow in the body. Find out more about their subconscious value and the applied body acupressure points and Yin yoga poses to help balance those.

When you awaken and align your body’s underlying energy, you activate your innate process of healing and transformation. Yin yoga will help you create profound shifts in your physical and emotional well-being through the subtle body. Yin yoga therapy will demystify how energy affects everything you do and feel - and show you how to work with your body and mind. Energy work isn’t as esoteric as you may think. You will learn simple principles, tools, and practices that balance your subtle body which is how physical, emotional, and spiritual healing begins so you can build vitality, unravel energetic blockages and boost your immunity.

By the end of this course, you will feel stronger, healthier, and better able to thrive and flow in the life you are meant to live. You will get to know more about additional tools and different meditation techniques to support this process. Yin yoga therapy offers you an insight into the power of visualization and breath, Yoga Nidra, mantras, Mudras, and Chakras. There will be different meditations, acupuncture healing sessions, and chanting circles.

To complete a basic understanding of yoga in all its variations you will look into the anatomy of the muscular and skeletal body, in the Ayurvedic Dosha system and share different aspects of yoga philosophy and foundations like the eight limbs and Patanjali’s yoga sutras. In Circles of Transformation, Yin Yoga Therapy Teacher Training creates a safe space to connect and share. Together, they open the gates to a long-lasting transformation.
