Through breathing and relaxation exercises, meditation and inquiry, we soften the body, breath and mind. Working with the quotations provides insights for reflection and appreciation for our journey. Ratna Ling Retreat Center is guided by the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, and we are open to all people looking to find inner strength and spiritual peace. we are located in the coastal redwoods of Sonoma County, a spectacular 90-mile drive north of San Francisco. Our retreats offer you the opportunity to experience beauty and quiet, in elegant private cottages, each with an expansive view of the surrounding countryside, complete with deer, wild turkeys, rabbits and quail.
Each cottage has two beds, which are located in separate bedrooms. The cottages are large and have high ceilings, with a living room, kitchen and full bathroom.

Barry
Barry graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. He began his professional life working in investment banking before becoming a student of Tarthang Tulku in the early 1970s. From 1988 to 1993 he was Dean of the Nyingma Institute in Berkeley, California. In 2002 he founded Silent Moon Books a publishing company to relate stories for children and adults about Moritz, his therapy dog.
