The Vivir program is centered at the V Retreat, a beautifully restored 17th century manor house and located in the charmingly quaint village of Vejer de la Frontera, the southernmost Pueblo Blanco in Spain. Shrouded in a serene and soothing atmosphere, this unique wellness retreat inspires total relaxation and tranquility. The mystical and magical ambiance of Andalusia provide an incomparable setting for nurturing and empowering your mind, body and soul.

You will stay at a beautifully restored 17th-century manor house. The rooftop terrace has a panoramic 360-degree view, making it the perfect place to meditate, practice yoga, and soak in the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and distant Moroccan coastline.
The accommodation offers 13 comfortably appointed guest retreats where comfort, warmth, and simplicity blend together meticulously to create cosy tranquil havens.
Retreats are furnished with extra-large beds with crisp linens, antique Portuguese furniture from the Goan jungle, floor heating, air-conditioning, and contemporary open plan bathrooms with showers and/or bathtubs.
Vivir promises to serve only the freshest produce, free of pesticides and other chemicals. The fresh vegetables are grown at the “Viviendo en el Campo” garden which is a local project of ecological and certified organic agriculture. Located within a 20-minute walk from Vejer, the garden is situated on a hillside well protected from the east wind (Levante) that can create strong winds throughout the coastal villages of Cádiz. An interesting aspect of “Viviendo en el Campo” is the recovery of missing native seed cultures indigenous to the area.
All the meals in the program are created and prepared by the gourmet chef, Alberto, who brings his own masterful and creative touches to each of the healthy dishes offered to Vivir guests. As the owner of a successful restaurant in Vejer, Alberto is very familiar with organic locally sourced cuisine. His expertise is often shared at culinary conferences, where he offers presentations regarding the relationship between the environment and food sources. He has collaborated on projects with top-level regional chefs and hoteliers as well as having several recommendations in the Michelin guide.
At Vivir, guests enjoy seasonal menus centred around healthy, delicious, and inspired dishes. The culinary approach is to use only organic garden fresh, high-quality ingredients, infusing them with natural flavours. All fruits and vegetables are sourced from small local organic producers. All fish are raised and harvested from a local saltwater estuary under a world-acclaimed sustainable and organic fishing program. Organic pescatarian or vegetarian dishes are prepared by a gourmet chef.
At the conclusion of the daily hiking tours, guests will be met by Vivir team members at a designated location with an elegant picnic spread consisting of a healthy and delicious organic luncheon. The lunch is casual and elegantly rustic, surrounded by nature and the beauty of Andalusia.

Guests will be guided through morning and afternoon yoga/meditation sessions by our expert yoga instructor whose knowledge, experience and techniques will help guests focus on their energy centres, helping them feel more balanced physically, energetically and emotionally.
Slow Flow Yoga or Vinyasa is a dynamic form of yoga with a slow rhythm, combining movements with controlled respiration. By synchronizing body movement with conscious breathing, stress levels are dramatically decreased. Other benefits include releasing emotional blocks in order to increase mental clarity and open up personal awareness. Slow Flow yoga is recommended for guests of all levels, regardless of age and physical condition.
Morning session (20 minutes each day)
1. Meditation for 5 minutes
Includes a guided meditation before the physical practise in order to feel more balanced and focused for the rest of the day. This relaxation exercise is vital for connecting with inner peace in order to properly relax, therefore balancing body and mind in a more complete way.
2. Yoga stretching for 15 minutes
- A sequence of yoga exercises and poses designed to prepare and awaken the body
Afternoon session (45 minutes each day)
1. Arrival relaxation for 5 minutes
- Same as the morning guided meditation
2. Yoga poses for 30 minutes
- A series of asanas (yoga poses)
3. Final relaxation / guided meditation for 10 minutes

They will be guided to listen to their inner self by releasing emotional blocks, thus opening up to an expanded awareness of themselves and the world around them.

1. La Breña Tour: Breathtaking views of Africa
Hike in the Natural Park of La Breña, taking in the views of Africa and Cape Trafalgar. Learn about Mediterranean aromatic plants in the La Brena Natural Park and finally enjoy the scent of the sea breeze while relaxing with your feet in the sand at El Palmar Beach.

2. Los Alcornocales: Explore the Cork Oak Forest
On this hiking tour (Sendero del Buda) in the Los Alcornocales Natural Park, you will pass through a diversity of landscapes including hiking through a forest of cork trees. As well, you will be able to take in unbelievable views of Tarifa and the Jebel Musa mountain in Morocco.

3. Bolonia Beach: Discover the Ancient Ruins
Start on Bolonia beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain. Enjoy hiking a trail with the best views of the Cadiz coast between Zahara de los Atunes and Bolonia. Climb up to one of the highest shifting dunes in Europe to take in the views, relax and breathe in the sea air. Afterwards, explore the Roman ruins of Baleo Claudia.
