Learn to be in the here and now by immersing yourself in the wild beauty of Scotland with our guided mountain adventure and exploring ancient Eastern practices of yoga, qi gong and various meditation techniques. 

We all know the benefits of climbing a mountain, the exhilarating moment of reaching the peak. However, most often we carry all the weight of our worries and busy minds every step of the way. 

We invite you to learn to walk the path with extra awareness to each step and we'll explore ways to shift out of our busy minds, into awareness. 

We'll share tools that you can apply in everyday life to be able to live more peacefully and joyfully. Join us for an adventure from mind full to mindful.

Instructors

Rebeka
Rebeka
Rebeka has over 10 years of experience learning and sharing yoga around Europe and Asia. She spent several years studying traditional Chinese medicine and a variety of ancient Chinese practices and philosophies. She spent two months on top of Wudang mountain learning about Daoism and lived with Chinese monks for 8 months after quitting the fast paced big city life. She now lives in the North-East of Scotland, sharing her experiences and promoting  simple ways of living a healthier & happier life. 
Cathal Redmond
Cathal
Cathal is an adventurer by nature and has explored Scotland by sea, air and land. He is a keen paraglider, having flown in 9 countries around the world including long distance flights across the mountains of Scotland.

When not paragliding, he is exploring the wild & remote coastline of Scotland, sea kayaking or kite surfing. An Environmental Scientist and Conservation Biologist, Cathal has extensive knowledge of Scotland’s landscape and wildlife. He regularly plans expeditions across the country and enjoys sharing his knowledge with others. 

Cathal founded Curious Detours with the intention to inspire people to experience Scotland from a different perspective, witnessing the wonderful wildlife, history and landscape on our doorstep. 
Jonathan
Jonathan
Jonathan is a qualified Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor, International Mountain Leader and Climbing Coach. He spends most of his time guiding and teaching people mountaineering across the world. He regularly guides groups in the Himalayas, Africa,  Alps, Pyrenees, UK and Ireland.

Some of his career highlights include representing Ireland in the bouldering world cup in Munich in 2014. He has also climbed the famous nose of El Capitan in Yosemite in less than 12 hours and led first ascents on several climbing routes in Ireland and the UK.

Jonathan enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with others, so they may have the opportunities to learn and experience the wonderful mountains and natural world we live in.
