The Novanta Hotel is located in Borgo di Gello, a tiny hamlet restored to its former glory by the hotel founders. The village is one hour's drive from Tuscan centre, Arezzo and ninety minutes from Florence. The magnificent refurbished stone buildings are nestled in amongst the trees, high on hills of the Gello valley overlooking the mountain peaks of La Verna and down onto the rolling Corsalone River below. Scattered between ancient ruins, terraced gardens and winding paths, you will discover three main buildings each with their own honesty bar and selection of exquisite light-filled rooms kept cool by their thick, stone walls. Angie knew as soon as she found yoga that I wanted to make it her whole life, breathing it and living it every day forever so after her teacher training in India she couldn’t wait to share it with everyone. As soon as she arrived back in Deptford, she set up a class at a local community centre, which eventually led to what The Yoga Room is today.
