Overview
Prenatal yoga is a yoga practice fully designed and dedicated to pregnant women. Throughout this important period of life, the womenโs body and mind adapt; and so should the practice of yoga.
Nydum provides this 40-hour prenatal yoga teacher training course to help you expand your knowledge and confidence so you can be able to guide women throughout pregnancy; Helping them soothe aches and pains in the body, relax the mind, and prepare the body for birth and postpartum. Throughout this week, you will learn the main changes that women experience over 40 weeks of pregnancy, you will learn how to practice during each of those weeks, and also the benefits that said the practice can bring either for the mom or for the baby.
Differences in the yoga practice during the prenatal and postnatal period and how the teaching in your classes can have a good impact on them. Having an impact on those woman's birth experience by reducing the hours in labour, reaching the postpartum with a healthier body and pelvic floor for a safe and quick recovery.
Effective use of props, alignment, how to structure a class, exploration of cueing, and myofascial and meridian line knowledge specifically for a mother-to-be. This course wants to give you the tools to be able to teach, physical or online classes, for all those teachers who are seeking further knowledge on how to help and support, by having access to the different gynaecological advice up to the last study concerning pregnancy.ย

The above is an example schedule, subject to change to the needs of students and the lead teacher. Arrival is on July 8 in the afternoon, dinner included. The departure is on July 13 after lunch.ย
