Xinalani is located about 12 miles south of Puerto Vallarta Airport. It is only accessible by boat. Conceived as a tropical haven to host spiritual personal retreats, group retreats, teacher training and mind & body workshops. Xinalani is a one of a kind retreat centre bringing together the best yoga facilities, beautiful eco-chic accommodation, delicious healthy food, relaxing spa treatments and supportive staff to make your dream retreat come true, all set on a wide pristine beach and a jungle of breathtaking natural beauty. Xinalani has 33 oceanfront rooms, with a total capacity of 74 people. All the accommodations are beachfront, spacious, palm-thatched cabins floating on stilts. The suites and rooms were designed with refined elegance and built and furnished by local artisans. Their cozy interiors inspire feelings of calm and serenity.
You will enjoy the closeness of the natural elements, the stimulation of the open-air private showers and the stunning views of Puerto Vallarta and the Pacific Ocean from your terrace. Since its very beginning, Xinalani has taken the pledge to offer a more affordable option for budget conscious travellers that seek to build community.
Big Palapa and Small Palapa shared rooms
Big Palapa (880 square feet) and Small Palapa (650 square feet) are two separate dorm-style rooms that inspire community and friendship. They feature very comfortable single beds each with its own mosquito netting providing lots of privacy. With a great view of the jungle and the ocean, the Palapas are the perfect option for cost-wary travelers that don't mind sharing their room.
The Big Palapa has 8 single beds and 2 bathrooms; it can be co-ed or strictly girls. In the Big Palapa theres a single drawer below each bed to store personal belongings. The Small Palapa has 4 single beds and 1 bathroom. Overall the Small Palapa is slightly more luxurious than the Big Palapa for its bathroom and closet are larger, and it has a terrace and a hammock.
Both dorm-style rooms are equipped with safe deposit boxes. Big Palapa and Small Palapa guests don't get access to Wi-Fi from their room but they generally don't mind walking to the dining patio, the bar or the beach club to have free access to the internet
Xinalanis cuisine takes the folklore and tasty ingredients of the traditional Mexican recipes and integrates them with an original accent to a healthy energetic diet. A menu the guests will find unique and delicious. The meals are healthy gourmet style and include fresh fish, seafood, and on occasion chicken.
They do serve wine, beers, cocktails and liquors. Additionally, you'll be given an opportunity to learn from the pros and take home delicious healthy cooking habits (additional charges apply).

Explore the wilderness trekking through the pristine sierra behind Xinalani. Follow the guide as he "machetes" his way into the deep rain forest and leads you to a pristine waterfall. Enjoy the unique contact with local fauna and flora, away from tourists. It's a steep hike that requires solid walking shoes, light sports clothes, a bottle of water, and some bug repellent.

Yoga Instructor Arjuna is a Yoga instructor who seeks to motivate the student to find and consciously define among the wide variety of Yoga styles, the practice that is best suited to his anatomy and personal search. Arjuna had contact with his first physical practices of Yoga in his childhood and early adolescence, it was not until the age of 16 that he began to deepen in the different areas of knowledge that Yoga offers as a way of life. At that same age he was invited to take his first certification focused on Traditional Hatha Yoga (Sivananda Style) under the teachings of Olinka Villanue
Vinyasa and Yin Yoga Teacher Sara Cecilia is passionate about connecting with others while sharing sacred practices, rituals, ceremony and magic. Her yoga and wellness journey started in Brooklyn, NYC. There she took her first yoga class and eventually enrolled in teacher training. She has seven years of teaching experience including studios (virtual and in person), pop up and music events, kids after school programming and senior citizen centres around New York City and Puerto Vallarta.
