Luca welcomes you to her life, home, and family; The Tree Gozo is a three-bedroom 400-year old Gozitan farmhouse offering comfort, sisterhood, and tranquillity. Take the time to slow down, awaken the senses and nurture the relationship with yourself. These are personal, not group retreats. The Tree Gozo supports one, maximum of two persons at a time.

Join Luca as she accompanies you on a seven-day journey through dynamic and restorative practices of movement, breath, somatics, and transformational therapies to get to know the body, mind, and inner self on a more personal level. Whether you are familiar with these practices or are a beginner you are most welcome here. You will spend time exploring nature in-between session days, so you will get to experience the beauty of this island, the caves, beaches, crystal clear seas, and sacred sites.

Luca immerses herself deeply into a spiritual and holistic way of living. Living a slow-paced life, spending time in nature, eating fresh homemade meals with daily movement + self-connection for whole-body wellbeing. Luca and the community of women here at The Tree welcome you to this warm and nurturing environment, where you can fully let go and express yourself fully.

Gift yourself the opportunity to feel at home in a warm and nurturing environment, where you will be supported to embrace and meet your inner world. As this is a personal retreat, the schedule and practices will be adapted to your needs and requirements. This retreat is specifically for you, to have the space and time to unwind from any stress and discomfort that has accumulated in the body, mind, emotions, and spirit.

You will receive tools on how to cultivate your relationship with yourself, emotional release, and how to navigate and discern the discomfort of what arises within you. Honour yourself through time and space in a safe and nurturing sanctuary.

Life in the home focuses on relaxation and authenticity, allowing what has been unseen within to be seen, embraced, and transformed through support, gentle guidance, and self-realization.

Karma yoga is performed daily, which is, together we clean up after meals wash, drying, and putting away the dishes. You are always welcome to help water the plants in the garden or garden if you wish to.
If the weather does not permit us to be outdoors, yoga sessions will be in the cave.

The house is set on three floors with three en-suite bedrooms on each level. Its private pool overlooks the untiring views of Blue Lagoon, Comino, and Malta. The heart of the home is the triangular common area with a living room, kitchen, dining, and a fireplace. And located just below is the natural healing cave where therapies and sessions take place. Andrea lives in the top part of the house while the other bedrooms, The Pool Room and The Earth Room are located in the middle and lower part of the house.

The middle room, which connects to the common areas, has one queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. It has a door that connects directly to the pool. The bathroom also has a bathtub. It is the oldest room in the house and displays traditional Maltese tiles as well as high ceilings. The room is ideal for dreams, going within, relaxation, and connection to water.

The lower room, which is partially underground, has one queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. It connects to the healing cave. It is the quietest room in the home. The room is ideal for deep introspection and meditation.

The energy of the room and its cave have been known as an initiation room, where you are able to meet, embrace, and unlock awareness and power that has previously held you back. It is also the warmest room in the winter and the coolest room in summer (if you are temperature sensitive). Massages, sessions, and yoga - weather not permitting in winter - will be held in the cave (only for those on retreat).

The Tree Gozo kindly asks you to allow them to pass through the room to the cave. All other uses of the cave are at the discretion of the guest in this room.

Fresh towels and linens, a beach towel, and a hairdryer are provided. There is Wi-Fi and each room is equipped with a gas heater for winter and a fan for summer.

Food

All meals are vegetarian / vegan, local catch (fish) available upon request, and usually gluten-free and bio and organic when available. The meals are a combination of hot, warm, cool food depending on the weather and what is in season. Meals can be eaten together or solo, outside on the terrace (weather permitting), picnic-style, or indoors.

Meals will be prepared with regard to dietary preferences.

Welcome to the home of Luca; a magical 400-year-old farmhouse built of the local Maltese limestone, which has been renovated and kept in old-modern style, offering comfort, charm, and relaxation. The farmhouse offers a warm, sensual, and idyllic inspiration to regenerate and reveal yourself. It lies on a ley line connected to a water portal just off the island of Comino. A magical space, abundant in local crystals, plants, cats, and love.

Located in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea on the island of Gozo in the village of Qala. Gozo, which means 'joy', is a little spit of land sitting in the Mediterranean Sea with a unique rocky coastal landscape, waters so crystal-clear and the sky so bright blue that you’ll have to rub your eyes to believe what you are seeing.

Gozo is the second-largest island of the Maltese Archipelago and is an ideal destination for those who treasure a slow, relaxed rhythm of life and cherish the unspoiled countryside and being close to the sea. The beauty of surrounding nature all around creates an ambience of complete peace.

The home and lifestyle are based on relaxation, play, and inspiration. While there is WiFi, you will find a better signal without it as the home is connected with nature, animals, sunrise, and walking trails. She shares her space with affectionate cats: Binah, Zoya, and Blackie.

The garden outside the pool area gives season vegetables and herbs when available. The Tree Gozo also buys fresh goat cheese, goat milk, and free-range eggs from the neighbour, who is a shepherd and can be seen daily walking her sheep and goats by the house.

Life is simple, supportive, and nurturing. You will be well looked after and nurtured as all your basic needs are provided for. The home does not have a television but it does have a large table for everyone to share and support one another.

Gozo is known and loved for its beautiful green valleys, scenic hills, hidden beaches, and crystal clear blue waters. Made up of 12 villages and small capital, it is rural, quiet, relaxing, and full of local charm without any package tourism.

Gozo is also rich in historic locations such as the 15th century Cittadella castle and the Ggiantija temples, which along with the other Megalithic Temples of Malta are among the world's oldest free-standing structures. Gozo is also said to have been the home of the mythological Calypso, the nymph from Homer’s Odyssey. The island has some amazing natural features such as the Inland sea and Wied il-Mielah Window.

There are many beaches on the island, and great hiking trails, and Gozo is considered one of the top diving destinations in the Mediterranean. Gozo has a deep culture in organic farming bringing an abundance of locally grown fresh vegetables and fruit; making it the perfect location for wellness and healing.

How to get there

Arrival by bus

There is a direct bus X1 (2 EUR) that will take you from the airport directly to the Gozo Ferry Terminal. The journey by bus takes over an hour and you will enjoy some nice views of Malta on the way.

Arrival by Malta - Gozo Ferry

You will be picked up and dropped off from the ferry terminal in Gozo. It takes 25 minutes to cross to Gozo. You only pay for the ferry when you leave the island (4.65 EUR).

Arrival by taxi

The Tree Gozo can also organize a taxi from the airport to the ferry terminal in Malta (Cirkewwa) and the cost is around 25 EUR. Please send your flight details and exact arrival time.
