Triguna Yoga offers this yoga and meditation retreat in Rishikesh which will help you discover the relationship between mind and body through yoga, meditation, and breathing techniques. They will show you how to balance yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally using five elements, asana, meditation, emotional detoxification techniques, and breathing techniques. Triguna Yoga focuses on self-development through self-understanding.
Triguna Yoga Center is situated in the holy city of Rishikesh, India, at the base of the Himalayas. Rishikesh holds deep cultural and spiritual significance for local Hindus. Sacred rivers and mountains set the scene for yoga and reflective hikes. Rishikesh is a world yoga capital and every year thousands of people come to Rishikesh to learn yoga and meditation. There are hundreds of temples and ashrams in Rishikesh.
This teacher training takes place in Dhyan Mandir ashram. It is located a couple of kilometres from Rishikesh away from all noise and traffic and close to the holy Ganga river. Dhyan Mandir is a beautiful ashram with two yoga halls (one is a white Dom) in a big garden with flowers and many trees. There is free Wi-Fi access, a hot shower and a filtered drinking water system. There are private rooms and shared rooms, some of them have AC. The rooms are big and have Western toilets and a wardrobe. Bedsheets, blankets and pillows are also provided for you. A washing machine is available for free whenever you need to do your laundry
During this course, you will be served three daily vegetarian yogic meals. A healthy and happy life depends on a healthy routine and a balanced diet. The food is carefully supervised and is prepared in a very natural and yogic manner while promoting the use of seasonal vegetables and fruits and avoiding all the artificially prepared edibles.
The cooks will prepare the food with utmost devotion and love and nourish all the layers of your personality.
Often the vegetarian food is vegan as well, and if not, there will always be choices of vegan dishes available for our vegan students. Also, in case of food allergies like dairy or gluten allergies, Triguna Yoga can provide enough options to serve foods according to your needs.

Private single room
This retreat is not an incoherent mix of yoga classes and meditation techniques but offers a deeper understanding of how you can use yoga asanas for mental health. Through the practice of some asanas, your energy level, mind patterns, and habits can be changed.
In the retreat, Triguna Yoga will show you the role of breathing in your life and how it creates opening and change in the self. A better quality of breath gives you a better quality of life.
Besides yoga asana and pranayama, you will work with the 5 elements to heal and detoxify physically, mentally, and emotionally. You will get an understanding and experience of how you can rebalance your body and mind without the use of herbs or medicine.
Triguna Yoga will especially focus on emotional detoxification kriyas: how you can release the side effects of your negative emotions. The detoxification with 5 elements includes mud and water treatments, breathing techniques as well as teachings on how you can increase the fire element and ether element (fasting).
The purpose of this retreat is to help the body and mind heal so that you can gain more inner stability and strength to deal with situations in life.

Yoga Nidra (physic sleep)
When a yoga practitioner moves through the various internal states of Yoga Nidra, a profound experience of relaxation occurs. This is called "turiya," a sensation of pure bliss. This will cover basic relaxation, tension relaxation, and full-body relaxation.
Yogic cleansing (shatkarma)
Yogic cleansing exercises are important to learn how to incorporate your breath and meditate properly during the physical aspects of yoga. It also removes the blockages in the energy channels. This will include:

Emotional detoxification kriyas
Emotional detoxification kriyas is a combination of removing knots in the body through pressing points, breathing techniques, release through sound and laughter, and meditation. It is a three-day program and very effective to release the effect of emotions and other toxins in the body.

Prakash is born and brought up in a spiritual family in Uttar Pradesh, India. He has been introduced to a spiritual path and yoga at a very young age. He started practicing meditation, asanas, pranayama, and prayers in his childhood. On the path, he learned yoga from different institutes and traditions, like Astanga yoga from SVYASA Bangalore and extended courses from Satyananda’s (Bihar School Of Yoga), Munger. He has acquired academic qualifications earlier: a master of yoga and a master in English literature. Prakash is now guiding meditation, yoga, Tantra, mindfulness, and Kundalini.
Samadhi is uniquely inspiring and experienced pranayama, meditation, Yoga Nidra teacher, and therapist. She is a Dr. of Naturopathy from School of Naturopathy Gorakhpur, which includes whole naturopathy treatments with diet and therapeutic yoga. She has done extensive courses from Satyanand yoga (BSY Munger) and SVYASA Bangalore, where she got the perfect practical and theoretical knowledge of asana, pranayama, mudra, and bandha. She also learned yoga Nidra with its therapeutic qualities. Nowadays, Samadhi is giving sessions of pranayama, yoga Nidra, meditation, diet, and counseling.
