Program

The retreat commences on Friday evening and ends late afternoon on Sunday. Start the weekend with a yoga and meditation class, followed by a group dinner on Friday evening. Saturday and Sunday mornings both start with yoga and meditation. After breakfast, take guided walks through the surrounding nature. Use free time in the afternoons to relax, read, and indulge in a therapeutic massage. Unwind with evening yoga and meditation.

Plas Candat is a secluded country house on the Isle of Anglesey with access to a winding river, rushing waterfalls, historic gardens, and magical woodlands. The Coach house is luxuriously designed and equipped, housing up to 11 guests. There is a large wood burning stove in the living room and views over the rolling countryside. On the property, there is a modern yoga studio looking out to the park.

How to get there

Driving directions from A55 Expressway Mainland

  • Cross over the Britannia Bridge and take the first slip road, immediately after crossing bridge.
  • Turn right at T junction (A4080) taking you back under the expressway towards Menai Bridge and Beaumaris.
  • At the roundabout go straight across (2nd exit) and downhill into the centre of Menai Bridge.
  • Turn left at the main road towards Beaumaris (A545), through Menai Bridge town until you see a new road bridge ahead.
  • Turn left at the lay-by (with white lines on it) just before the bridge and Plas Cadnant Estate entrance is 50 meters on the left. The sat nav will take you to this point.
  • When you arrive at Plas Cadnant, make your way up the long leafy drive always bearing left to the central graveled courtyard.
  • The Coach House is the first big house on the left. There is plenty of parking.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Manchester Airport (MAN). The transfer is not included.

Arrival by train

Manchester International Airport has train links from there. The nearest station is Bangor with direct train links to London, taking just three hours from London Euston. Plas Cadnant is situated a short five-minute taxi ride from the station.

Being an ex-gymnast movement has always played an important role in Katy’s life. She focuses on balancing strength with flexibility, reinforcing the body and mind, and releasing tension to encourage longevity and mobility. Her sequences are inspired by Vinyasa flow, created to be physically challenging while tailored to one's ability. These sequences provide an active, full-body experience that strengthens through stretching, breathing, lengthening and opening.
Claire Riley
Claire
Claire has been practicing yoga for over 40 years and completed her teacher certification in 2015. While her classes focus around Hatha yoga, she incorporates many styles that encourage her students to release physical tension and emotional blockages, restoring balance to the mind and body.
