Bala Brook is a charming, upgraded farmhouse on vividly green property. There are modern, chic features in the house and big windows that allow for ample natural light. The yoga studio has floor-to-ceilings that can be opened for fresh air during the summer, as well as heated floors for the winter. The house is set on land abundant with gardens and access to a river.

Program

This three-day retreat combines yoga, meditation, and mindfulness activities in celebration of the fall equinox. Start your morning early with yoga and meditation, followed by a mindfulness of eating workshop in combination with breakfast. The day is filled with guided reflection, a group walk through nature, meditation, and yoga Nidra. After dinner, unwind with an evening session with songs, autumn equinox celebrations, and more. 

Typical daily schedule:
08:00: Yoga and Pranayama 
09:30: Mindfulness of Eating and Breakfast 
11:30: Guided Reflection 
12:30: Lunch 
15:30: Group walk/meditation lying down
17:15: Yoga nidra 
18:30: Dinner 
20:00: Evening session with songs and bedtime treats

Michelle is a senior Yoga Alliance certified teacher who benefits from over 20 years of teaching experience and draws inspiration from various styles of yoga and meditation. She hopes to bring kindness, peace, and joy to the individuals she teaches during her classes and retreats.
