Step 1: Relax the body

Start in a seated position on your yoga mat. Make sure your spine is elongated and aligned over your sit bones.

Step 2: Become Aware

Then, slowly release the breath through the mouth, while keeping your chest completely still.

Repeat for several minutes, inhaling for 5 counts and exhaling for 10.

Continue breathing and feel your body and mind slip into a deeply relaxing and spiritual state.

Step 4: Find your center

In a meditative state, you can fully connect with your mind and body and allow the two to sync to your center.

Feel a shift in your posture, breathing and thought processes as your entire being falls back into place.

Step 5: Stay there
