Are you needing a full mind and body reset? Spend a weekend in the peace and quiet of the Cotswolds where you will focus on a conscious eating, clean cooking, and yoga. A poor diet can result in stress and poor energy levels so take the time to slow down, reset, and get creative in the kitchen. Learn how to create delicious and nourishing plant-based meals, while also learning about macro-nutrient balance, optimal times for digestion, and the importance of relaxing while eating. Twice daily yoga-- a blend of hatha sequences and more restorative poses-- are combined with informative and fun healthy cooking demos, nutrition talks, and mindful living sessions. During your free time, inhale the fresh air of the countryside on meditative walks and treat your body to holistic massages. Leave with the inspiration and tools to lead a more balanced, healthy lifestyle.

Brock Cottage is a beautiful, seven bedroom cottage nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. The house boasts a spacious kitchen and dining area, cozy nooks and seating areas, and a yoga studio with huge windows overlooking the gardens. Brock Cottage is situated right on the edge of Foxholes Nature Reserve, offering plenty of walking trails through the countryside.

Program

This weekend retreat lasts for three days. In the mornings, practice hatha yoga before breakfast. The early afternoon includes a plant-based cooking demonstration and nutrition and well-being workshops. After lunch, enjoy free time to take walks, explore, book a massage, or simply rest. In the evenings, reconvene for a restorative yoga class before dinner.

Jed
Jed first encountered yoga in India during the 1990's and has made it part of her lifestyle ever since. She has spent many years in India studying yoga and the influence of ancient teachings. Jed's classes are powerful, blending asanas, pranayama, and meditation to awaken the physical and mental bodies, as well as all of the senses. She also draws upon philosophy from ancient texts to create the foundation for a happy, healthy life.

Rebecca
Rebecca Andrist is the co-founder of Jiva Healing, and has been running healthy eating, detox and yoga retreats in the UK and abroad since 2004. She is a qualified Nutritional Advisor, Yoga teacher and Massage Therapist who has worked in healing centres in Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Thailand and the United States before starting her own business. Her healing work ranges across yoga, meditation, bodywork, nutrition, exercise, mind-body healing and colon care. She strives to inspire and motivate all guests to live happy and healthy lives and impart the necessary tools in order to achieve this.
