Set in the heart of the South Downs, the retreat is a short trip from the city and is carefully crafted to ground you. Focus on healing physically through the slow, fluid postures of Forrest and restorative yoga, complemented with meditation, yoga nidra, chanting and shamanic practices. Spend your free time breathing in the calm of the surrounding area, going on meditative walks in the fresh air along the hills of the South Downs, or admiring the rolling landscape from the arched windows of Tilton House’s library.

Located only a 90 minute train trip from London, Tilton House whisks you away to another world altogether. Set within the South Downs National Park in East Sussex, the House is as beautiful as its surroundings. Yoga classes take place outside or in the yurt on the property, and the grounds also include a stunning library and sauna. Accommodation is typically shared and the retreat provides delicious, vegetarian-friendly meals each day.

Program
Start your morning with a grounding meditation and chanting, followed by Forrest Yoga classes under the blue skies or inside the yurt. This type of yoga focuses on enabling healing in the mind and body. In between classes, spend your time wandering the hills and cliffs of the national park, book yourself a massage, or pay a visit to the sauna. Come evening time, unwind with slow, restorative yoga, meditation, and kirtan.
