Day 1

Day 2
Arrive at Colombo International Airport. At the arrival terminal, you will be met by Amy Walker, Owner of Walker Wellness Retreats who will greet you and assist you to the air-conditioned vehicle to begin the journey towards Negombo! Upon arriving, check in to the hotel and relax. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3
After breakfast, proceed to Sigiriya. En-route visit Dambulla Rock Cave Temples. The Dambulla temple, also known as the Golden Temple, was founded in the 1st century AD by King Valagamba who is said to have fled to the caves during an invasion from South India. This UNESCO World Heritage site is filled with various sculptures and paintings of Lord Buddha and his devotees, various Hindu divinities and gods as well as Sri Lankan Kings.
Spread out over 5 caves, each cave depicts statutes and paintings from a different period of Sri Lanka's rich history thus showcasing the evolution of Sri Lankan artistic style. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Upon arrival receive doctors’ consultation for Ayurveda treatments at the adjoining hotel Ayurvie. Aliya Resort and Spa, Sigiriya (Ayurveda package included). Evening at leisure with Ayurveda treatments, yoga dinner, and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4
Early morning calm and reflex your body by practising Yoga. Afterwards, proceed to Sigiriya Lions Rock. Found in the centre of the cultural triangle, Sigiriya, is another exceptional architectural, artistic, and engineering landmark of ancient Sri Lanka. Carved into the rock on the orders of King Kashyapa, he used the rock to build his fortress to provide him with the ultimate protection against an attack.
The King build himself a palace atop a rock along with a village for his followers at the bottom of the rock decorated with Watergarden containing baths and fountains that still work to this day. Often referred to as Lion Rock, Sigiriya, is also famous for its frescos that depict the Damsels of Sigiriya which date back to the 5th century AD. Return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast. Rest of the day enjoy treatments and yoga. Dinner & overnight stay.
Day 5
After breakfast, proceed to Kandy Visit Kandy city & The Temple of the tooth relic. Known as the Temple of the Tooth, this temple houses the famous relic of Lord Buddha's tooth and is without a doubt the city's most important landmark. The temple holds daily ceremonies called Pujas (Thevava) every morning and night to honour the relic.
Visitors get to see the Golden casing where the relic is kept during the ceremony where the room's gates are opened. The ritualistic ceremony which includes traditional drums is a must for all those visiting the holy city of Kandy.
Proceed to Santani Wellness Resort & Spa for the check-in. Doctors consultation for Ayurveda treatments. Hotel rooms do not have televisions. While digital detox is a key component of the Santani experience, the hotel does offer in-room WiFi on demand. Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 8
Morning meditation on your own out in nature to focus on all your senses. Pay attention to what you hear, see, feel smell, and taste (bring a small something like gum or a mint). Please take a journal to write down your experience and also some things currently going well in your life. Practising gratitude daily as well as practising mindfulness meditation are habits of happy people.
After breakfast, proceed to Gal Oya. En-route visit Dambana ancestral village. Dambana is a village in the district of Badulla in Sri Lanka. Close to the town of Mahiyangana, it is well known because of the Vedda population that calls the area their home. The Veddas are Sri Lanka's last indigenous group that are descendants of the earliest Sri Lankans.
They have their own language and still live in semi-isolation trying to stay true to their way of life. The area contains various eco-tourism projects. In 2010, there were only 1000 Veddas left across all their different families. Arrive for lunch and check in at Gal Oya Eco resort. Evening Yoga. Unplug yourself from the modern world at this remote retreat without Wi-Fi, mobile phone signal, or television.

Day 9
- Breakfast at your leisure.
- 8 a.m. Morning walks with the hotel's Naturalist guide to watch the birds and animals around the hotel.
- Jeep safari in Gal Oya National Park
Gal Oya national park surrounds the immense Senanayake Samudra, Sri Lanka's largest reservoir, east of Ampara. This park is famous for the sighting of elephants swimming to islands within the reservoir in search of food. The wildlife department offers boat safaris to best witness these elephants and the park's abundant birdlife. The park has also seen sightings off Common Langur, endemic Toque macaque, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Water Buffalo, and 3 species of deer.

Day 10
- Breakfast at your leisure. Morning yoga session at the Anantara Peace Haven, Tangalle Half Board.
- Full day leisure at the hotel. Enjoy your time at the beach with an array of fun activities to do.
- 6 p.m. The Habits of Happy People Workshop led by Amy Walker, LCSW
- 7 p.m. Dinner at the resort
Day 11
- Breakfast followed by a morning yoga session at the hotel
- Free day to relax, journal, meditate or enjoy an array of beach activities available.
- 6 p.m. Gratitude Exercise led by Amy Walker, LCSW

Day 12
- Today you will be driven to the airport for your flight home
