Take control over your stress with this tailor-made training in the peace and quiet of the Norfolk Coast. Map your stress behaviors to fully understand patterns and then dive into varied techniques to manage your stress rather than letting it manage you. Learn how to use breath as a tool to focus, use mindful stretching and yoga techniques to release stress, practice mindfulness techniques to be present, and explore pre-sleep relaxation routines for optimum performance the next day.

Guests stay in Bridget's home on a quiet street in a small village by the sea on the west Norfolk Coast. The house has a comfortable living room with a fireplace, a training studio, and a snug dining room where some sessions are held. From her kitchen overlooking her calming garden, Bridget produces home-cooked, vegetarian-friendly meals as well as catering to other dietary requirements.

Program

The program unfolds over three days and two nights with the option to extend for one more day to help embed the new practices. At the start of the training, you will explore stress in your life, including triggers, stress patterns, and physical and emotional experiences of stress. After establishing the stress map, the training will then move on to learning tools and techniques to help manage and mitigate stress. Techniques include breathing, yoga, nature therapy, writing, and relaxation routines. After the end of the residential program, there will be bi-weekly one-hour online sessions to offer support as you return to your work and home life.

Bridget is a 250-hour certified yoga teacher with over 20 years of yoga practice and extensive experience in corporate training. A free diver and something of a breath geek, Bridget includes breathwork in all her retreats. She also likes to share her love for nature and food – especially Norfolk products – with her guests.
