Ditch the city and breathe in the fresh, coastal air as you exercise among the sandy beaches and fossil cliffs of South Devon. Run along meandering trails winding up and down seaside bluffs and awaken your mind and body during yoga sessions among lush, rolling hills. Cool off in the refreshing River Dart or enjoy open water swims. Relax your achy muscles after a day of energetic activities in a hot tub, soaking up the peace and quiet of your surroundings.
The retreat is hosted in a rustic barn overlooking the River Dart in a peaceful valley among the idyllic hills of South Devon. Comfort isn’t compromised in this venue. There are ten private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor common spaces, and hot tubs perfect for a soak under the stars. Enjoy carefully prepared, locally-sourced vegetarian meals in an outdoor dining space in the garden and easy access to trails, the beach, and a river.
The long weekend is packed with a range of fun, outdoor adventures. Inhale the salty sea air on runs along rugged coastal paths with spectacular views. With the guidance of swim coaches, refine swimming skills in the River Dart and partake in an open water swim around Burgh Island. At the end of each day, yoga sessions take place among the green hills to relax and refresh the body.

Ceri was a triple national cross country champion as a junior, before turning his attention to rugby but in his mid 30s returned to his first love; endurance running, down in Devon. He set up his business Wild Running, which won an UnLtd Social Entrepreneurs award and has organised trail and swimrun events for thousands of people of all abilities, through his Wild Running Events, Something Wild Events and as co founder of the Wild Night Run Series. He also guides as a Qualified Mountain Leader all over the UK, and writes for several outdoor magazines as a specialist writer and makes his own Wild Running podcast series.
Ceri has competed internationally and won many trail marathons, ultras and fell races around the UK but he now prers to focus his energies on the holistic benefits of running for its own sake and the numerous lessons it can teach you. He aims to counter the myth that performance and enjoyment should be at opposite ends of the same continuum and to share his passion and insight with you.
