The Yorkshire Center for Well-Being is set in an elegant home on beautiful grounds in the spa town of Harrogate. The house has a variety of rooms that can be shared or booked individually, and also has the option to book a superior room. The property includes fully-equipped yoga studios, tranquil gardens, and outdoor and indoor dining and lounge spaces where healthy, nourishing meals are served.

Program

During this three-day retreat, arrive late afternoon on Friday and leave mid-afternoon on Sunday. On the evening of arrival, settle in with meditation and a Hatha flow class. Mornings start with an optional neti cleanse followed by meditation and Hatha yoga. After brunch, there are workshops on offer, including exploring face yoga and facial pressure points. Enjoy free time to embark on walks, explore nearby towns, book treatment, or simply relax. In the evening sink into a place of stillness with restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra.

James Gopala Burford
James
James co-runs the Yorkshire Centre for Well-Being and has a varied background in holistic healing. His training is extensive, including an MA in Indian Philosophy and teacher training in Hatha and Ashtanga yoga, as well as pilates. James is also a reiki master and Ayurvedic massage therapist. He incorporates all elements of yoga, including yoga philosophy, into his classes and teacher trainings.
Anne-Marie Burford
Anne-Marie
Anne-Marie is the founder of the Yorkshire Centre for Wellbeing and a highly qualified and certified "Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga" teacher with the world renowned Chopra Centre for Well Being, California. Anne-Marie specialises in back problems and is a qualified pre/post-natal Pilates instructor. Her warm and welcoming teaching style allows you to explore all aspects of your being in a safe and nurturing environment.

Kelly-Anne is a passionate, knowledgeable and very experienced Spa and Holistic professional. Trained in London, qualified International Spa diploma CIDESCO with 16 years experience as Press Therapist , Trainer and Manager of five star Spas.
