Set at the lovely, stone Florence House in East Sussex, the venue is surrounded by rolling hills and spectacular landscape. There is a choice between shared or private rooms, each offering scenic views. Beyond its private garden, the venue is on the edge of South Downs National Park and is in close proximity to the sea and the coastal town of Seaford. Home-cooked vegetarian meals are served at the house each day.

Program

The goal of the weekend is to gain a stronger grasp of techniques and tools for a more awakened yoga practice. Each day starts with a morning meditation and includes two other mindful yoga classes. During the afternoon, there is free time to hike to the Seven Sisters, wander down to the beach, or relax and reflect in the surrounding gardens. Evenings involve guided breathing and Yoga Nidra to allow for a restful night’s sleep.

Laurent is a senior registered yoga teacher who has been teaching classes, teacher trainings, workshops, and retreats since 2010. He mixes a variety of yoga styles along with meditation and breathwork to create mindful classes that stir a sense of awareness.
