Leave your worries behind as you immerse yourself in the wilderness of North Wales during a long weekend of yoga, meditation, walking and nature. At this off-grid staycation, catch sunsets on the private hillfort,  stretch and strengthen your body beneath the blue skies,  take a dip in the local river or simply relax around a campfire and look for constellations in the pitch black sky. Bring the peace of the wild with you as you finish a weekend of digital detox and nature therapy.

The retreat takes place at a rustic campsite in the woods of Northern Wales, with river and lake access. The camp consists of a vintage gypsy caravan, luxurious yurts, a firepit, basic furniture, a hot shower, and a compost toilet. Simple, functional, and eco-friendly. Bedding, blankets, cooking supplies, and pizza on the first night are provided. Food for the rest of the retreat is self-catered.

Program

The retreat opens with a welcome circle and meditation followed by pizza around the campfire. The next day involves a full list of activities, beginning with gentle morning yoga and a mindfulness walk in the woods in the morning. During the afternoon, retreat goers can choose to swim in the lake, paddleboard, kayak, or kick back and enjoy the serenity of nature. During the evening, partake in a guided yoga nidra session. On the final morning, enjoy one last yoga class and a closing circle before heading home.

Chelsea found yoga whilst seeking a lifestyle change. She is a 200-hour certified hatha yoga teacher living in the wilderness of North Wales. With a love for nature and a passion for slowing down, Chelsea aims to make her classes accessible to everyone of all experience levels.
