Do you frequently feel overwhelmed and find yourself reacting to stress? Take the time to slow down and cultivate a deeper sense of mindfulness during a weekend retreat in the Scottish wilderness not far from Aberdeen. Dive into the science of mindfulness during a series of workshops that will enable you to understand reactions to stress and integrate mindfulness practices into your daily life. Partake in guided meditations, practice mindful eating as you nourish your body with vegetarian cuisine, and embark on mindful nature walks along the coast and up magnificent clifftops.

Toadhall is set in a tranquil rural hamlet near Muchalls, just a short drive from Aberdeen and Stonehaven. The house has four rooms, including one studio. The other three rooms vary between shared and private accommodation, as well as shared and en-suite bathrooms. The house also has a garden, fireplace, and beautiful meditation room. The venue has easy access to nature trails along massive cliffs and to the crashing shores of the coast.

Program

The three-day weekend retreat is designed around learning how to deal with stress and ultimately reduce stress in all areas of life. Throughout the weekend, there are a number of workshops that dissect topics relating to stress and provide mindfulness tools. There are also guided meditations and the opportunity to take mindful walks in the surrounding nature.

Recognizing the power of mindfulness to change both business and personal relationships, Angela decided to pursue her training in mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR). Currently, Angela runs retreats and workshops centered around the concept of mindfulness.
