Bala Brook is a retreat center situated among beautiful grounds on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. On site, there is a minimalistic home with views over the garden and surrounding landscape. The accommodation is fully catered with primarily single rooms to fit up to fifteen people. There is a yoga studio and access to an abundance of nature trails.

Program
This four-day retreats starts on Monday evening and ends on Thursday morning. Arrive Monday and unwind with an introductory class and relaxation session. Each morning begins with a silent period followed by pranayama and meditation. After a light breakfast, there is a dynamic, two-hour asana session. During the afternoon, enjoy nature walks, massage, and free time for yourself. In the evening, relax with a restorative Hatha yoga session. The final morning starts with asana practice and the retreat ends after breakfast.

Neville
Neville has been teaching yoga in retreat centers, yoga studios, work places, and beyond for over 20 years. He discovered the roots of yoga while traveling in India and Nepal in his early 20's and began studying yoga philosophy and ideas. Although Neville's initial interest in yoga was rooted in meditation and philosophy, he expanded his reach and studied massage therapy. Neville believes in living a balanced life combining clean diet, meditation, hatha yoga, massage, and cardio exercise. He primarily teaches residential courses and classes on yoga history and philosophy.
