“This venue is in the middle of nowhere but at the centre of everything.'“ 
You will be housed all inclusive, on a shared room basis in one our converted military bunkhouse. This communal retreat is nestled in the Snowwdonia mountain range, alongside UNESCO heritage site slate mines, it is also listed as an International dark sky reserve, and has views of all 7 peaks! 

The location is very private surrounded by its own ancient woodland and including a freshwater river, (perfect for morning cold plunges!) 

The owners of the property are working with local and national wildlife organizations working on re-wilding the 4 acres surrounding the property. So be prepared to spot nesting woodpeckers, swifts and even the odd adder!

There is plenty to do on the land itself with the activities included. However as this rustic location really lends itself to its surroundings a day will be given to either relax or explore at your leisure. 

With perfect views of Moel Siabod and 30 minutes drive from Snowden this location is perfect for the adventurous type. There is also a host of local attractions from natural waterfalls, lakes and caves to modern zip wires, tobogganing, downhill mountainbiking and of course some of the best pizza in the world!

Program

THE TEACHERS

Host teachers Maiwenn Langlois  will lead you through a balanced full body movement program including pilates, yoga and breathwork to help connect deeper to your body and a build a practice to take home with you.  Kim Mcfadden will be guiding you through nature connect practices to awaken the wild within. Opening our body, mind and soul to the four elements. This will help you rebalance the nervous system, bringing a deep sense of stillness and embodiment.

Suitable for beginners to more experienced students, with a maximum of 12 people per retreat and 2 practitioners on hand you will be assured plenty of individual attention and guidance. 

THE FOOD

The whole food, plant-based menu has been designed to detoxify the digestive system and heal your body from the inside out. Each meal will be lovingly prepared in-house using organic and seasonal (wherever possible) and presented buffet style allowing the opportunity to explore and create to your taste..

THE THERAPIES

We aim to help you kick start your health and give you a well-earned break from everyday life. After an active day we can organize a therapy of your choice from a local practioner to help aid rest weary muscles and set you up for a good nights rest.

Over the past 10years teaching Pilates, hosting retreats, traveling and learning I have discovered many modalities each of which has un-locked another piece of wisdom needed to help me on my own healing journey. My journey is a constant daily necessity. Like brushing your teeth! The mental and physical laundry needs prioritising so that I may lead a fruitful and functional life.

I trained primarily with the renouned Body Control Pilates Institute London, siam healing centre for Thai massage, VTCT Sweedish Massage and Tao Valley abdominal energetic massage. With continued registered development, regular sessions with senior teachers and numerous workshops,  I continue to expand knowledge of the body and apply it to all aspects of my life. 
With KULA SPIRIT RETREATS I “get to” empart these wisdoms, learn more and cultivate a community that can share in that journey with me!
For that I am forever grateful
