As winter approaches get into a great space for your mind, body and spirit by preparing for the shorter days and longer nights. Fancy a break where you have time for YOU and can be truly looked after? Tap into the essence of autumn at this five-day retreat where you can connect to yourself, to nature, and to like-minded women in the healing energy of the Welsh coast. 

Days are filled with garden and beach yoga sessions (or at our studio if the weather isn't kind!), meditation, and mindful breathing to help calm the central nervous system and prepare us for the hibernation months ahead. There is a full program including personal development, 121 Coaching, empowerment worshops, fitness sessions in The Studio for those who want to work put more, and time for treatments in our relaxing, warm, treatment room on site.  Explore the surrounding nature on meditative walks alone or join our daily guided walks - beach and country depending on what the group fancy. Take cold dips in the sea, or soak in the big, new hot tub - or both! Experience outdoor yoga and dance as well as indoor evening Yin Yoga for relaxation. Forge new friendships over cups of tea and delicious, homemade meals. 

The food is exceptional and in abundance and the feedback on this is superb.  Also included is an excursion to The Studio also owned by the retreat manager where there will be a deeply relaxing sound bath, meditative yoga and a chai and snack break which you are welcome to join as part of the retreat. During this week, ease your way back into a space infused with joy, clarity, confidence, and connection and feel thoroughly looked after and cared for. 

This is time for YOU, and YOU choose which parts you want to join in with from just a few things to everything - the choice is yours. The essence of this retreat is all about YOU and helping you feel more connected to yourself,  and those around you to experience joy, in a welcoming, safe and comfortable environment. You will return home feeling refreshed and with old burdens lifted, relaxed, happy, fit - and ready to book the next one we run we hope!

Program

This five-day retreat is centered around connecting with slowing down as autumn approaches. Daily yoga classes, breathwork, and meditations will take place keeping in step with the themes of the autumn theme and connection with nature. There will be plenty of time to relax, take a dip in the sea, go for a walk along the coast, or indulge in a massage or reflexology treatment. Find release and restoration with gentle yoga and sound baths come evening time. There will be a focus on relationships, be that with yourself, or with others. Learn how to communicate so you are heard, learn how to fully express yourself, gain courage and confidence and be the most authentic version of you!

Dyffryn House is located in Kidwelly, a small coastal town in Wales. Accommodation is single beds in a shared room or private rooms with king beds, all equipped with divinely plush bedding. The house is surrounded by lush gardens and boasts 2 cosy sitting rooms, a comfy and welcoming communal Kitchen, as well as a hot tub. Daily organic, vegetarian meals crafted with locally-sourced ingredients are provided.

Laura Pearce
Laura
Laura is the owner of Dyffryn House and is passionate about the practices of mindfulness, yoga, and nutrition for women's wellness. She uses the space to bring women together and give them an opportunity and a place to connect with themselves and other like-minded individuals through intentional, rejuvenating practices. Laura is resident at all retreats and spends time with each guests daily to ensure everyone is happy and getting their needs met, having good conversations and also making the whole experience a lot of fun!
Ruth Harlow
Ruth
Ruth earned her 500 YTT in 2012 and has continued to deepen her yoga knowledge and experience ever since. She has trained in India, where she studied practices such as rebirthing and tantra, and uses her knowledge to help guide others on their journeys to connect to their innerselves. Ruth does the sound baths for the retreats.

Rachel is  the Fitness/Yoga/meditation instructor and wellbeing coach at 'The Studio ' Llanelli and on Mind, Body and Spirit Retreats.
Rachel comments 'I am truly blessed to be able to do what I love, because movement, music and energy have always been part of my life. I set up my Wellness business 10 years ago when I graduated and am able to help people reach their potential, realise their power and enjoy their bodies. I have a background in dance, music and kickboxing since I was 3 years old as well as a wealth of other training that enhance the business and helps sessions to be unique and inclusive. Just like you! '
Lucy Evans

With 30 years experience in Mind Fields counselling coupled with being  a qualified and experienced Alexander Technique teacher Lucy has been involved in running retreats for over 40 years! She is well loved by all guests as she is the ' Mum ' of the retreat and has helped countless women with issues from relationship problems to grief and everything in between. Lucy is Lauras Mum and together they make the perfect team for successful retreats. 
Sara Bennette
Sara
Sara is a Life Coach and Reflexologist and is resident at the retreats. Sara is passionate about women's wellbeing and offers workshops on empowerment and progression. A true empath Sara is a really wonderful addition to the team.
