Location
The yoga centre, which is exclusive for our yoga holiday guests, is a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Aegean sea, where you can swim and relax on the sandy beach. From here you have a beautiful view and you can see the stunning sunset. The large pool invites you for a swim to start the day or to freshen up after a sunny day.

The centre is located about 1.5 kilometres from the centre of Kos town. In the surroundings, you will find the real Greek tavernas, where you can enjoy lunch in a local atmosphere and the wonderful hospitality of the Greek people.

The rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning, and balcony. Wi-Fi is available in public spaces. In the lush garden, there are plenty of nice spots where you can read and relax in one of the hammocks.

Food
Every morning before yoga, we make a tasty juice for you. After the yoga session a breakfast, freshly baked bread, different kind of cheeses from the island, yoghurt, nuts and seeds and seasonal fruits. We serve a delicious Greek-style dinner, prepared on-site by our chef. Everything is fresh and with as many local products as possible.

The meals are vegetarian and vegan. At dinner, it's 'bring your own booze'. Always nice to try newly discovered Greek wines. The food, nice company and atmospheric lanterns will create a successful evening.

Filtered water, herbal tea and coffee are available all day.

Boat trip
Yoga on Kos offers an optional boat trip (10:00-18:00hrs) for an extra cost of 45 EUR p.p. including lunch and transfers.

From the port of Kos town, you go with a wooden sailboat to the nearby islands of Kalymnos, Pserimos and Plati. Plati is an island where only 2 people live. Just before the coast, you anchor and you have the opportunity to swim in the clear blue water. Meanwhile, the crew on land prepares lunch for you on the bbq. The next stop is Vathi, a beautiful village on the island of Kalymnos. The third island is Pserimos. You moor in a quiet harbour in a bay with several cafes where you can enjoy a Greek frappé or wine.

On this boat trip you will:
  • explore the beautiful small islands near Kos and swim in the crystal clear water
  • enjoy a delicious Greek lunch with vegetarian options
  • sunbathe, dive or relax on the deck

Program

Awakening
While you wake up, we prepare a delicious fresh juice for you. You will start the day on your yoga mat while enjoying the fresh air and the first sunbeams. After this wonderful morning yoga, a rich and healthy breakfast will be waiting for you.

The rest of the day
The rest of the day, you will have all the time to do what you like and we'll give you recommendations for the best places to go. In the early evening, you have a lesson with views of the sunset.

In the evenings we serve a delicious Greek-style dinner, prepared on-site by our chef. Everything is fresh and we use local products as much as possible. The meals are vegan and vegetarian. At dinner, it’s ‘bring your own booze‘. Always nice to taste newly discovered Greek wines.

The sunset meditation at Hippocrates Altis where we take you for the last evening together will be very special. It is close to the Asklepion, the sacred place of Hippocrates, father of Medicine who was born on Kos. The unique atmosphere makes this meditation an unforgettable experience.

One evening we go to Therma. These are natural hot springs, which the Greeks themselves use to relax and enjoy. While the sun goes down and the stars come out, it is wonderful to float in the warm water with the sounds of the mountain goats in the background.

Hiking
On two late afternoons, instead of the yoga session, you will explore Kos together with the group and make some fantastic hikes through beautiful, unspoiled nature. During the hikes, you can unwind and enjoy the nature and scenic views

Ten years ago I started with yoga, and I fell in love. Yoga taught me that everything is fine as it is in this specific moment. Yoga helps you to check in with your body. To feel and to listen to your heart and your intuition.Yoga is much more than performing the asanas on the yoga mat and during my classes I will help you to find the beauty within yourself.

Since 2014 my life has turned upside down, I learned and noticed how important it is to take good care of my body in daily life. Yoga is enormously supportive in this and now it has become much more of a lifestyle than just the physical postures in a yoga class. I like to combine and make intuitive use of these styles depending on the group, setting and time. In my yoga classes I like to take you on a journey in your body, with attention - to (re) connect and listen what your body has to tell you. To take better care of yourself.

Yoga taught me to get out of my head and back into my body. To connect with whatever there is in that moment. In my classes, hatha and restorative / yin, I find it important to challenge yourself in the moment and don’t take it (or yourself) too seriously. My classes are suitable for all-levels of yoga. I incorporate the yoga philosophy in an accessible way and invite you to take the yoga off the mat into your life.

Yoga is a beautiful gift to the world. I feel very blessed to have been born into a Yogi family with an Indian father and an English mother, My mother is a yoga teacher and I discovered yoga through her at a very young age. In my sessions, i draw upon all my experiences of healing arts & yoga. I am deeply passionate about being a part of the healing journey of my students. I always listen to the energy and needs of the students and adapt each class to everyones needs offering modifications, keeping the practice playful & fun too.

The practice of yoga and meditation has become a very important part of my life. I knew I wanted to share these beautiful experiences with the world. My style of teaching feels like a journey of the self through the self to the self. I invite you to turn your focus inwards, to become more aware of your breath and the sensations in your own body and I keep on guiding you through the whole practice so you become the explorer. My main focus will always be love and compassion for yourself.
