This elegant house is the only carbon-neutral Georgian Manor house in the U.K., which has been restored with modern amenities while preserving the elegance and charm of the period. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views over the lake and surrounding area. The house is located directly on the shores of Lake Windermere and is equipped with luxurious private rooms with ensuite bathrooms. There is also a hot tub, indoor fire pit, spacious seating areas, and a dining room inside the home.

Program

The retreat is five days, lasting from Monday evening until Friday morning. Start the week with a meditation and yoga class on Monday evening and a group dinner to become acquainted with one another. Each morning starts with a guided meditation and an invigorating yoga class to wake the mind and body for a day of activities. After breakfast, the group departs for the wild swim location for the day and goes on a guided swim until early afternoon. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or pampering yourself with a massage. Unwind with restorative yoga and meditation come evening, followed by a nutritious, tasty dinner.

Laura
Laura is a yoga teacher and founder of the Zest Life. She specialises in a dynamic Vinyasa flow style yoga that seeks to rejuvenate from the inside out. Laura has also developed a Vipassana meditation practice that helps shape her teachings as well. She continues to practise yoga at a physical level but through continued Vipassana meditation she has developed a more spiritual path to her practise, which she incorporates into her teachings both on and off the mat.
